Thiruvananthapuram, Sep 21 : Various religious and cultural programmes will mark the 57th birthday celebrations of Spiritual Leader Mata Amritanandamayi on September 27 at Amrithapuri Mutt.
Union Ministers, political and cultural leaders would attend the celebrations, here, a release said today.
A person would be honoured with Amrithakeerthi Award for his contributions to spiritual literature at the celeberations in which about three lakh people from across the world were expected to take part.
Besides, a new insurance scheme for self-help groups, organised under the Amrithananthamayi Mutt, distribution of clothes to 25,000 poor, pension and mass marriage would also be organised.
A new website of the Amrithananthamayi Mutt in nine Languages, including Malayalam, would also be launched as part of the celebrations, the release added.
